Only a few days after the relaunch of the site and the Green Carnation not only gets a mention in The Bookseller but its very own post which our chair for 2011, Simon Savidge, was asked to write about the prize and the need for it inside publishing in this day and age. About the Prize
The Green Carnation Prize champions the best writing by LGBTQ authors published in the UK. Named after Oscar Wilde’s emblem, the prize ran from 2010 and partnered with Foyles.
