Yes all the judges are feeling like bookish Jack Bauer’s as in 24 hours time they will know all the submission titles and the reading to get ‘The Green Carnation Longlist 2010’ (possibly working title The Green Carnation Bunch’) begins in earnest!!

Mind you we can report due to the amount of books that the judges have already received they have had to crack on earlier with the read-a-thon than they anticipated. Katy Manning has told us that her living room is ‘drowning in submissions’ and so far it’s only a few of the early ones that have come in!
